Making S'mores Indoors with Tealights or Votive Candles

I'm teaching my granddaughter, Leila, html. Her first assignment was to write something using the code I've taught her thus far. Below is her first article, which as you can see, is a recipe for indoor s'mores!


Do you want to have s'mores over a roaring campfire? But then it ends up raining! Well we have a solution for you. A mini campfire indoors!

S'mores are ooey, gooey deliciousness good anytime of the year, and gathering with your family and friends to make them is a bonus too!

How to Make Indoor S'mores

You can make your own s'mores indoors and with just a few ingredients and it's so easy to do.

What you Need

  • Unscented tealight or votive candle
  • Long toothpicks
  • Large or Mini marshmallows
  • Milk-chocolate squares (milk chocolate melts better than dark)
  • Graham crackers

Instructions

  1. Cut your graham crackers into mini squares
  2. Cut your chocolate into mini squares
  3. Place your tealight or votive candle in the center of a plate
  4. Place toothpicks, graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows on the plate around the candle
  5. Place your marshmallow on a toothpick
  6. Roast your marshmallow over the mini campfire
  7. Assemble your mini s'more

Smores are an awesome treat and can be made in so many ways to your liking. Below are some optional things to use for making smores:

  • Milk chocolate chocolate chips
  • Nutella (replace the chocolate with this)
  • Teddy Grahams
  • Oreo Cookies

The possibilities are kind of endless. You can even drizzle caramel sauce over the roasted marshmallow and add a dab of peanut butter over the chocolate.
