What's Cookin' Good Lookin'?

Some my favorite recipes, recipes that have been passed down to me, snacks, desserts and more.

I love to cook! I especially like trying new things, creating my own recipes - but I have lost a little bit of all that over the last couple years, and darn it, I am ready to get all that back!

I think I am more drawn to baking than cooking. There is something calming about baking - I personally love to listen to some Rhapsody or Pandora while I bake, maybe watch some Netflix! My favorite time of the year to bake is hands down FALL! Fall is my absolute favorite time of year - while I think a lot of people love summer, there is something nostalgic for me about fall, it makes me feel more sentimental about the things I do.... Like, coffee - I LOVE COFFEE, I love sitting on my couch, looking out the window on a gloomy rainy day, wrapped up in a blanket with a cup of Kenny G, listening to some coffee - oops! I mean, with a cup of coffee, listening to some Kenny G!! Yes, I said Kenny G.

I love when I am in the kitchen, baking, and my husband is playing his guitar or surfing the web, the kids are doing their own thing - like Andrew being a mastermind on the flippin' computer, or Leila watching a show, or to be more realistic, attached to my hip! It is raining. I have wine. House warm and cozy while having Fireplace for the Home on our T.V., hahaha. I just love and appreciate moments like that, with the yummy smell of whatever I have baking in the oven.....
